What should I do if I have booked tickets with an AUDIO GUIDE?
If you have booked a tour with an audio guide, follow the instructions in the email confirming your reservation to either download it or pick it up at the designated location when visiting the monument. When you purchase one of our tours, you will receive two emails: the first confirms your purchase, and the second includes a link to a private area where you can download your tickets for monument access and, if applicable, the audio guide.
What documentation do I need to access the monument?
Tickets for the Vatican Museums are nominative, meaning you will be required to present documentation upon entry. It must be your original ID card or an equivalent document. Photocopies or digital copies will not be accepted. This is a mandatory step for entry.
Can I bring my tickets in digital format?
Yes, you can bring your tickets in digital format, provided that all the details are fully legible.
Do children need tickets for the Vatican Museums?
Children up to 6 years old can enter for free and do not need a ticket. Children aged 6 to 17 have a reduced price and need a ticket. In all cases, the original ID document must be presented, and they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Can I modify or cancel my tickets for the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona?
No, this is not possible. Once the reservation request is made, the name, date, and time cannot be changed, nor can the tickets be canceled. There is no possibility of a refund. These purchase conditions are explicitly explained on the website during the booking process and are accepted when making the purchase through the cancellation policy checkbox. No exceptions are made, including for reasons such as illness, work, COVID, trip cancellations, etc., as indicated by the entity at all times. Therefore, once the purchase is made, THERE IS NO RIGHT TO A REFUND OR REIMBURSEMENT based on the monument’s public regulations, except in the following cases: In the event of the monument's closure, you are entitled to a 100% refund, which will be processed automatically using the same payment method used to purchase the ticket.
Can I exercise the right of withdrawal?
There is NO right of withdrawal for this purchase, as stated in Law 3/2014, of March 27, which amends the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16. Article 103 specifies exceptions to the right of withdrawal: (l) The provision of services related to recreational activities if the contracts specify a specific date or execution period.
Is it possible to eat inside the monument?
Eating is prohibited in the exhibition halls of the Vatican Museums. However, during the tour, you will find several vending machines with food and drinks, as well as designated areas where you can have a snack if needed. Additionally, the Vatican Museums have a cafeteria, restaurant, and pizzeria, so you can eat during your visit in designated areas.
Is there a cloakroom service at the Vatican Museums?
The Vatican Museums offer a free cloakroom service where you can leave your coats. The staff at the entrance will also inform you if you need to leave large items like backpacks, large handbags, tripods, video cameras, umbrellas, or walking sticks (unless necessary for mobility) in the cloakroom to avoid disrupting the visit for other visitors and reduce the risk of accidents in the exhibition rooms.
Is the visit canceled in case of rain?
No, the visit can be enjoyed regardless of the weather conditions outside.
What happens if the monument closes?
It is very rare for the monument to close, but if an exceptional event occurs, the monument will inform us with very little notice. If this happens, we will attempt to reschedule for another day or, if not possible, we will refund 100% of your payment.
Can pets access the Vatican Museums?
No, pets are not allowed in the Vatican Museums, even if they are small. Guide dogs on a leash and muzzle, as well as therapeutic support animals, are allowed as long as the relevant certification is presented. Can I enter the Vatican Museums at a different time than the one selected during my purchase?
No, once you have purchased tickets for a specific date and time, you cannot change the selected access time. If you arrive at a different time, you will not be allowed entry.

There is no time limit for staying inside the Vatican Museums. Your visit is limited only by the opening and closing hours of the monument.
How much time do I need to visit the Vatican Museums?
It depends on how long you wish to spend on each exhibit. A basic tour will take about 2-3 hours, but if you want to explore more thoroughly, you can stay as long as you like without any time limit.
What is the best time to visit the Vatican Museums?
The first opening hour in the morning is usually the best time to access the Vatican Museums. Noon is also a good time, as many visitors leave for lunch or are already eating at the on-site facilities.
If I have a ticket for the Dome of St. Peter's, can I enter the Basilica without queuing?
No, the ticket is exclusive for accessing the dome. To enter St. Peter's Basilica, you will need to queue for the necessary security checks.
Does the elevator to the Dome of St. Peter's reach the top?
No, the elevator avoids one flight of stairs, but there is still another section of 320 steps, and no elevator is available for that part.
Is there a dress code to enter the Vatican Museums, the Dome of St. Peter’s Basilica, or the Basilica itself?
You cannot access the Vatican Museums, the Dome of St. Peter's Basilica, or the Basilica with clothing above the knee, clothing that exposes the shoulders, or head coverings.
